i created this full page GoldK print advertisement for publication using photoshop

alot of my print ideas actual come from a sense of choreography - or at least implied movement - hopefully here the eye travels down the right hand side of the verbiage in the foreground down to the valise & up the arm of the businessman - then - down the righthand contour of the leg - ultimately leaving the viewer smack dab in the middle of the GoldK logo - some minimal useage of linear elements & the usual spattering of layered text layered text - plus i was just trying to make it look real good

i developed these designs for adsmart in december of 1999 - i think they 'just wanted to see what fresh ideas i would bring to the table' - hence the complicated patchwork & lineplay - eventually the original design went thru a weening process to something a bit less complex - but nice nonetheless [ slick even ] - the 2 top layouts reflect my original design - the last displays the final 'stripped down' version of the brochure - i created the shadowed '@' lightbulb that pops the front cover

i put together this little ad for virtualFactory in the spring of 1999 - a bit of a 'brady bunch effect' w/ the headshot of the nurse looking toward the title of the cd-rom - a bit of angular eyeplay - movement down the cables of the golden gate bridge & another diagonal line from the surgeon to the 'operating room nurse' - published in the AORN journal [ association of operating room nurses ] in March of 1999
